Matt is widely regarded as an expert in advising on technology, communications, regulations and the law. He is currently a non-executive director of .au Domain Administration Ltd, director and trustee of  McClelland Gallery & Sculpture Park, and board member of The Macfarlane Fund. He also leads projects as principal of HealyAdvisory.

 

Matt has held executive positions at Macquarie Telecom Group, and leadership roles at the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission, United Energy and within the airline sector. His previous board positions include CommsAlliance Ltd, Competitive Carriers Coalition Ltd and OzHub Ltd. 

 

In these roles he has led the response to a diverse range of challenges from the establishment of the National Broadband Network and personal data privacy reforms, to Mergers & Acquisitions, regulation of platforms, and access to public sector markets.

 

More recently Matt has advised on regulatory strategy and market entry options for software developers and artificial intelligence focused start-ups.
